Sweet raspberries meet aromatic matcha! No, it’s not a dream, it’s our raspberry and matcha smoothie bowl, which will give you something to dream about after getting up in the morning. This smoothie comprising oats, bananas, berries, etc. makes a great start to the day. It’s ready in minutes and is full of fibre and vitamins to keep you healthy and feeling full for longer.

Ingredients for 2 portions of the raspberry and matcha smoothie bowl:

  • 150 g rough oats
  • 60 g almonds
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 lime
  • 3 tsp matcha tea powder
  • 20 g honey
  • 100 ml almond milk
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened almond butter
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 100 g raspberries
  • 2 sprigs of mint

Preparation time: approx. 10 minutes

Method: 

Toast 100 g of oats in a dry pan. Roughly chop the almonds and toast them also.

Peel the bananas and cut them into slices. Set a few slices aside for later. Finely grate the lime and squeeze out the juice. Place the zest and juice into a mixer along with the bananas, matcha tea powder, honey, almond milk and almond butter. Mix until smooth.

Pour the smoothie into two bowls. Garnish with the rest of the oats and sliced banana as well as raspberries and mint.

Tip: Coconut flakes, chopped almonds and honey are also good choices as a garnish for the smoothie bowl.
