Summertime is definitely iced tea time! Today, we are treating ourselves to a pink grapefruit iced tea – a fruity taste explosion of grapefruit, raspberries, lime and green tea. Sounds fresh? It tastes fresh too!
Ingredients for 10 servings (around 1 litre) of pink grapefruit iced tea:
- 100 g raspberries
- 1 l green tea
- 4 pink grapefruits
- 1 unwaxed lime
- 5 tbsp stevia (or honey)
To decorate: 3–4 sprigs of mint to taste
Additionally: Ice cube tray
Preparation time: 15 minutes + freezing time
Preparing the ice cubes: place the raspberries in the ice cube tray and fill up with green tea. Place the tray in the freezer and freeze overnight.
For the tea: squeeze the grapefruits and the lime. Stir the grapefruit and lime juice into the remaining green tea and add the stevia or honey. Remove the ice cubes from the ice cube tray, add them to the tea and serve the pink grapefruit iced tea immediately – ice-cold.
Tip for even more refreshment: pluck a few mint leaves from the stalks and use them to decorate the iced tea.
