Fresh, juicy, nutritious – smoothies are particularly tasty snacks and highly versatile. In one of our recent blog posts, we showed you how to make a proper smoothie.
Patrick Gebhardt’s original recipes will provide you with further inspiration. The popular celebrity chef likes them colourful, varied and uncomplicated. Definitely worth trying!
Strawberry and banana smoothie
200 g of strawberries
1 ripe banana
100 ml of apple juice
Wash the strawberries, removing green leaves and stalks. Peel the banana. Cut the apple into quarters and remove the core.
Cut all the fruit into small pieces and blend it to a purée with the apple juice.
Mango and kale smoothie
2 large leaves of kale, with the stalks removed
2 ripe mangos, peeled and with the stone removed
2 oranges, peeled
Cut all the ingredients roughly and blend them for two minutes to make a purée.
Pineapple and basil smoothie with coconut milk and almonds
Half a pineapple
200 ml of coconut milk
10 leaves of basil
1 tablespoon of honey
50 g of whole almonds, roasted
Peel the pineapple and cut out the central core. Cut into large pieces and mix with the coconut milk and honey until the smoothie has a creamy consistency. Add the basil and mix this in gently. Then dilute with water according to taste. Roast the almonds in the oven for 8 minutes at 160 °C. Let them cool and crush them using the bottom of a saucepan.
Pour the smoothie into a glass and decorate with the crushed almonds.
