Come to Hamburg for Dole Energy-Day and join us in bringing the Energy Code to life – that was the call that went out to our interested bloggers, who we recently welcomed to the Hanseatic City. All the participants subsequently impressed us with creative blog posts. One of these had to be selected as “best post”, as one of our bloggers was to travel to the Dole research institute in Kannapolis in the USA.
Picking a winner was not easy, but we eventually chose Jenny from “being fit is fun”. She can look forward to an exciting trip to the USA. And to make sure that Jenny’s camera is used extensively in the “land of opportunity”, New York is right at the top of the itinerary.
Reading is fun!
Jenny covered the topic of “energy balance” on her blog with passion and in an entertaining way. It’s clear from reading her posts that the active blogger takes a keen interest in her own energy account. This is no surprise, as writing her blog, exercise and her job take up a large part of Jenny’s day. Luckily, she has identified what drains her energy and shares this information with her readers. A small tip for “couch potatoes”: Jenny’s posts are so motivating that it makes you want to jump up from the couch straight away and put on your running shoes. Curious? Then take a look at her article here.
Jenny herself can hardly believe that she will soon be going to North Carolina and the Big Apple. “I think all my blogger colleagues’ posts are really interesting. When I heard that I had won, I wanted to do a little dance of joy!” recalls a beaming Jenny. When asked what her one essential in her suitcase would be, the friendly blogger says: “Definitely my laptop and smartphone so I can record and post all my impressions while I am away.”
The entire Dole team wishes Jenny an unforgettable and energetic time in the USA! We look forward to reading your posts.
