Beautiful blueberries – add colour to your day!

Pay attention berry fans! You know that summer is really here when blueberries make an appearance. The small fruit not only adds colour but also contains fibre, vitamin C and the phytochemical anthocyanin, a free radical scavenger, under its dark blue skin. Breakfast: A berry good muesli

Mmmmhhh ... this is a delicious start to the day. A handful of blueberries, together with whole grain oat flakes, slices of banana, almonds and flaxseeds can be transformed into the perfect breakfast. And of course, don’t forget to add some low-fat milk or almond milk. A pinch of cinnamon powder to taste will add that special touch to the muesli.



Lunch: Protein pancakes with blueberries

A slight twist on traditional pancakes! Combine eggs, protein powder, buttermilk and bananas and pour the mixture into a hot pan. Scatter a few fresh blueberries on top and cook the pancakes on both sides until they are golden brown.



Dessert: Yoghurt and blueberry dream

Sweet sins don't need to be loaded with calories. Low-fat yoghurt or low-fat quark with some honey and blueberry topping becomes a real eyecatcher in the glass. Nibbling allowed!

Dinner: “Berry love” salad

Whoever likes savoury foods can enhance their favourite salad with blueberries. The blue vitamin bombs combine with rucola, a full-flavoured cheese and strawberries to form a heavenly combination.
