Delicious ice cream enjoyment doesn’t need to be a sweet sin if you make this delicious treat a NICE one. So lick smarter with our banana and mango nice cream! It can be made in a flash and tastes as fruity as an ice-cold fruit salad.
Ingredients for approx. 1 litre of banana and mango nice cream:
- 4 bananas
- 1 mango
- 100–200 ml almond milk (unsweetened), a little bit more if needed
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Freezing time: approx. 6 hours
Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes
Slice the bananas, then peel the mango and chop the flesh into pieces. Freeze both for at least 4 hours.
Purée the frozen fruit with the almond milk and maple syrup in a blender until smooth. Add the almond milk slowly, you may need slightly more than the quantity specified above. Place in the freezer for another two hours.
Shape the frozen mixture into ice cream scoops and place them on ice cream cones. Alternatively, serve the banana and mango nice cream in a glass dish.
Tip: The basic banana and mango mixture can be varied by adding 100 g frozen blueberries, 100 g frozen black grapes, 100 g frozen raspberries or 2 tsp matcha powder for example.
Fresh, fruity, fantastic – this dessert is simply an all-round NICE one!
