Apple and Pineapple Jam

about 7 jars per 200 ml

  • 500 g apples (prepared weight)
  • 500 g Dole pineapples (prepared weight)
  • 350 g sugar (white, brown, cane sugar or fructose)
  • 1 pack Dr. Oetker Gelfix Super

How it is done

Peel and finely chop apples and weigh out 500 g. Peel pineapple, remove stalk, chop finely and weigh out 500 g.

Put fruit in a saucepan. Mix sugar with Gelfix Super, then stir into the fruit mixture. Bring to the boil on a high heat while stirring, and keep on a fast boil for at least 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Skim if necessary and fill prepared jars up to the rim. Seal jars with Twist-off® lids, turn upside down andallow tostand on lids for about 5 minutes.

Tip: You can also replace the sugar with 25 ml liquid sweetener. To do this, put all ingredients in the saucepan at the same time.
